Description

La Barraca d'Aigües Vives is a highly fertile valley flanked by two mountain ridges covered in Mediterranean forest. This privileged setting is the place chosen for the pursuit of "otium cum dignitate".

The plot measures around 18,823 m², while the building has an area of about 180 m². The house is therefore considered as a centre of gravity that creates its own universe of landscape, based on the existing traces in the territory and respecting the existing trees.

From the entrance, the house presents a compact, protective image that creates a sense of intimacy; the remaining façades open up to the landscape. The curved volume embraces the water area and the small wood, directing the views and framing the outdoor space.
